OUR STORY

Zenia Bakery was formed in 2020 during Covid. After being laid off from my job as a head chef, and not knowing where my next pay cheque was coming, I decided to take matters into my own hands and start selling cakes and advertising on media platforms. I had nothing to lose. I started baking for close friends and family until the rest of the local area realised what I was offering and began ordering too. After that, I realised I had an nack for this and continued to do so. Since then, I have not looked back and continue to bake as it’s my true real passion in life.

The Master Baker

My name is Nick, and I am the owner of Zenia Bakery. I’ve been a chef in the hospitality industry for over 12 years. To me, my job is not a job, it’s a hobby as I get to wake up each morning and do what I absolutely love. In the hospitality industry, you need to have that creativity in you and the patience and i definitely feel I have that about me. Baking for me is art, it’s not a chore or a stressful act, it’s the feeling of giving someone that amazing feeling of pleasure and comfort when they try my cakes.
